Collaboration - Jigsaw (Darling-Hammond, et al., 2008) – students will independently research components of burial for Ancient Egyptians and combine their findings. Topics may include but are not limited to:
Types of burial for different classes
Treatment of animals
What artifacts buried with the dead
Why artifacts were buried with the dead
Ceremonies
Afterlife
Egyptian gods involved in judgment
Students will be required to submit research notes and/or graphic organizers along with their written summary of their findings.
